Description
The documentary series Saints of Hungary begins with the presentation of the lives of Saint Stephen and Saint Imre. Our founding king, Saint Stephen, became one of the greatest personalities in our history through his extraordinary diplomatic and political skills. With the organization of the Hungarian state, through which he ensured the unification and survival of the Hungarian people, and with the offering of Hungary to Mary, he became an outstanding figure of our people. Prince Saint Imre, the child of King Stephen and Queen Gisella, a role model for Hungarian youth, carried within himself the attributes of holiness. During the 24 years of his life, he lived an exemplary life following the model of Christ. His early and unexpected death plunged the entire nation into sadness. According to legend, the seals of his holiness were only opened 30 days after Prince Imre's death. It was then that miracles and miraculous healings began - praying to Prince Imre. Prince Imre is one of the best-known figures of Hungarian Christian saints. "Saint Stephen and all of Hungary mourned Prince Imre with inconsolable weeping."
