Description
Paul Javal is a young playwright. One day he gets a job from an American film producer, Jeremy Prokoch. The high salary makes Paul and his wife Camille financially better off overnight, but Paul still doesn't feel like himself. His artistic freedom is limited and he is sometimes forced to write things he doesn't agree with. This also happens in Capri, where the couple visits the set of Fritz Lang's film "Ulysses". Neither Lang nor Paul agree with the corrections demanded by the producer. However, the American producer pays off the screenwriter, who gives in to the lure of money. Camille realizes that Paul is using her charms to smooth his career... F/2195/J - Not recommended for children under 12
